Tzvi.dev Privacy Policy

Tzvi.dev provides bookkeeping, financial operations support, and related consulting services. This Privacy Policy explains how Tzvi.dev collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects information when clients use services that involve Plaid or related financial-data workflows.

Tzvi.dev may collect:

  • contact and business information provided by clients
  • engagement records, accounting work papers, and support communications
  • financial account and transaction information that a client authorizes to be accessed through Plaid
  • technical and access information needed to secure and administer the service

Depending on the Plaid connection type, Plaid may facilitate authentication directly with the financial institution, and Tzvi.dev does not receive or store the client’s online banking credentials. Plaid explains that applications using Plaid do not receive the user’s bank credentials, and that in OAuth flows the user authenticates with the financial institution directly.

Tzvi.dev uses information to:

  • provide bookkeeping and financial reporting services requested by the client
  • reconcile accounts and prepare accounting records
  • maintain and support the client relationship
  • secure systems, detect misuse, and comply with legal obligations

Tzvi.dev does not sell client personal information. Information may be shared only:

  • with Plaid as necessary to facilitate authorized financial-account connections
  • with cloud providers and other service providers that support secure delivery of services
  • when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or security
  • with the client’s authorized representatives

Tzvi.dev retains information only as long as reasonably necessary for the services provided, business operations, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping. Access tokens and live connection credentials are retained only as long as necessary to support an active engagement. Bookkeeping records and work papers may be retained longer where required by contract, law, tax, accounting, audit, or legitimate business need.

Tzvi.dev uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards reasonably designed for the size of the business and the sensitivity of the data, including access controls, MFA for critical systems, encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and secure disposal practices.

Choices and requests Link to heading

Clients may request information about the data Tzvi.dev maintains for them, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion where applicable. Some information may need to be retained to comply with legal, tax, audit, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.
